Early Game
Lane Phase
Billy is a very aggressive champion, but his early game is considerably weak. Avoid taking damage early. If you are in the side lanes, control the fog to create some pressure without exposing yourself. Clear the wave while avoiding as much damage as possible. Use Blasted to trade melee damage if you are contested in the fog.

Once you reach 4.8k vitality, you can take good trades against most characters. Use your Rising Ram to start trades when enemies are out of position. You will have enough health and resistances to withstand the exchange. Use your Missing blockAnchor: block-text-28 for short trades and avoid losing too much health to minions.

Melee Charge and Point Blank are excellent power spikes. You can stay in the side lanes, farming souls on your own while clearing early and intermediate camps. Avoid hard camps for now. Spirit Snatch is a very strong item at this stage of the game, as it will greatly amplify the damage of your Bashdown.
Mid Game
Focus on joining Soul Urn fights and team fights in general. At this stage of the game, you can deal massive amounts of damage while also absorbing a lot of punishment.

Torment Pulse greatly increases your DPS in team fights. At this point, you can use Bashdown to extend the duration of your Blasted and reduce enemy resistances with your melee attacks. Avoid using heavy melee on targets that haven’t used their parry yet. Crushing Fists helps your team deal more damage. Take advantage of Colossus resistances to frontline and remove enemy movement abilities with Chain Gang.
Late Game

At this point in the game, if you don’t have Unstoppable, avoid spamming heavy melee. Your job is simply to apply crowd control, be a reliable frontline, and safely apply your debuffs.
Focus on creating space for your backline to attack the enemies. You can make it as difficult as possible for them to reach a priority target. Abuse Scourge area damage and Transcendent Cooldown cooldown reduction to apply all of your negative status effects.
